OK! I'm forced to ask a stupid question!

If that is a "C" on the reverse, does it represent Cents?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a couple related questions...

I wanna know where I can find an 1855 excellent strike MS-64. I've been looking for about 2 years and haven't seen one. Are they around?

Is is true that only the 1855's (type II) are available with good strike?

1851-o trime is now and always will be one of my favourite US coins.

it's quarky in that it's the only year they made a branch mint coin like that, it was the smallest branch mint coin until the injun was made in san francisco in 1908.

and they are just cool looking little things anyway
  • Jon, I plan on doing just that!

In another thread I started I asked about any good 3cent silver dealers. The responses were great, and your name came up afew times as one of the good guys. I checked your online inventory and was amazed at the amount of coins you had to choose from.

I will see you in Baltimore for sure!

Ok, now for a coin related question about these lil beauties, whats the rarest date? Or the key/semi keys?

And thanks for all the great posts everyone.

Not too many were engraved as love tokens because they were so small. Here's mine.

  • A dateless silver 3 cent piece was the first coin in my collection.

Now, get this , LEE, For many, many years I thought the design was Roman Numeral III inside of a bracelet.
