Grade this blazer............It's for the anacs certificate type set. I also have an 1879 S, but it's just too clean to put in a Dansco. So I bough this one to use instead. It's also pretty darned nice though.

I vote 65. Lots of luster in that pic.

Polls aren't so good because the person setting up the poll often puts the given grade dead center in the choices, and that skews what people will vote for.

just the more i look at the pic them more i am realizing it is a poor
pic to be guessing the grade from :-)

I'll go with 65...I bet that light chatter does really show up much under normal lighting and it looks much cleaner in hand.

Good strike with nice luster, I am thinking MS64. The chatter out in the field and the couple of hits on the obverse bring it down a point. The lighting is very bright on the coin and could be hiding other points of interest.

From the photo, 65++, good shot at 66.

Yeah, I'll take all the 63s from options26 that look like that for Greysheet + 20%.

Those hits are very very light and I think the photo enhances them. The fields are very clean (the hits are miniscule), and in hand the cheek probably looks very clean, making the coin a lock 65.
