I love the look of this Morgan!

I think it just screams out originality. What do you guys/gals think?

I like all circulated silver that have that look.

I like the obverse. The reverse is too dark for me.
  • Definitely looks antique. I like the natural toned and worn silver also.

Looks like it was an oven. I like crust, but that one's just too crusty for me.

Nice enough but I prefer them to be just a tad on the lighter side. image

The obverse is nice...but about as dark as I ever like to see them. The reverse is far too dark for my tastes. It probably sat 'heads up' on something with a high sulfer content that led to the much darker toning on the reverse.

Photos are too small to be sure. If that's a VAM-60 though, I want my cell phone to be ringing right now

    I'm on the border.

I like the obverse but not so keen on the reverse.

If the obverse matched the obverse, the coin would be excellent. Otherwise, it's just okay to me.

The wear is consistant with a pocket carried coin but the toning is not. Much to even and dark. This
coin was stored improperly to have that happen. All silver will eventually turn almost black over time.
But this toning is not natural in my opinion. Perhaps it was stored in a leather pouch or wallet.
    Nevertheless, still a nice morgan!

    Is that a VAM 60?

Looks like it has "leather coinpurse" toning on the reverse. I like the obverse, though.

I have a 91-cc like that. XF45 and real dark, a very cool original look.

The ones I've purchased (Old collections in whitman albums with coins toned like that on the reverse) didn't smell like smoke. I can recall 5 purchases with coins toned like that on the reverse.

No folks, you're not looking at a VAM 60.....She's a VAM 58 w/ the eye gouge...You may be able to make it out in the picture.

Thanks for all of your input image
