Found in change. This interesting or really, really dull?

Going through quarters from my coin-op machines just now, looking primarily for silver. Heart skipped a beat when I saw this edge:

Turns out it's a '76 quarter. Then my heart skipped another beat, I've always wanted to find a post -64 silver clad quarter.

But it's a "D", so I don't think this is it. image

It's a little light on the scale, 5.6 grams vs. 5.7 for nearly all the others I grabbed from the bag. That's actually another '76 quarter immediately above it in the edge photo.

It's got the tinest little seam of copper right next to the obverse surface. But the layer is small--way small--smallest I've seen after searching through thousands and thousands of quarters.

That's it on the right.

Anything interesting about it?

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

I've heard that ownership adds a point to the grade but never silver to the coinimage

The only thing interesting is that your heart skipped a beat.

Are you feeling ok now? image
