Leon is a nice guy. I know Leon and he has always treated me well and fair. I know he has helped more dealers through the years than just about anyone, and those dealers are very appreciative. My issue is not with Leon, it is with the ANA selection committee's decision making. I think the ANA has a duty to select winners who are beyond reproach. And the selection of a man who has been convicted of a felony for a crime directly related to actions in his coin business, as well as, the selection of a man who is the beneficiary of Robert Chambers and his cronies simply puts the status of the award in question.

I have emailed the President, VP and Governors of the ANA today expressing my displeasure at them continuing on with the same controversial practices as the prior administration. There is no excuse for not finding a collector/dealer/instructor/etc. that isn't a convicted felon and defender of shop-at-home coin selling practices.
