What's happened to Lordmarcovan?

JoesMaNameJoesMaName Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭
Both his post here and his ebay feedback stop in early May...

I hope he's fine, I always enjoy reading his posts.

I've searched and found nothing but other posters asking about him.
Does anyone know?

I asked the same thing in this thread a few days ago but never got a response.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

One of his last posts was on This Thread . A little mysterious, but sounds like he was forced to take a break for a while but will be back.

I know a lot of us have medical problems, from time-to-time. I sure hope it wasn't that. If so, LM, do take care. Ya' hear?

Ok - after reading his comments in your link, it does look like a planned outage as opposed to some disaster - so that's good to know.

    To paraphrase my favorite Govenator:
    He'll be back

Might be a victim of the economy...When things went south for me a few years back the cable and the internet were the first to go.

Sounds like this was a planned exit..I knew a month in advance when my extras were going bye bye...I couldn't see spending
130 bucks a month on cable, internet, and phone. So off they went for about 6 months and I just kept the cell phone..

It sucked but brought me closer to the kids. It would amaze you how little they care about disney channel when dad plays
    monopoly and go-fish every night...image

even though I do not know LM,
I do know that he has been more than helpful to forum members,
and if he needs his forum friends
    I hope he realizes that
they would be there for him

He's a young man and at least seems healthy enough.

It's not my fault but I've lost him a couple times before
and he's come back fresh as a new coin.

    I trust he will again.

Rob (LordM) is doing fine and is just taking a break from the coin thing (a healthy thing to do from time to time)......i spoke with him sometime back in telephone conversation and he is just laying low (going yeti?) and catching up on some reading which he enjoys

since so many are asking about him it might be a good time to revist what i consider his greatest discovery Link to a great read

his metal detecting find (in my hometown i might add) could prove a link between native americans and the far east......not so far fetched when you consider that the Chinese navy was once the envy of the world with their ships

Well, I decided to take a break and gave up the 'Net for books. For longer than intended.

Ain't got as much time for Internetting these days, mostly due to a crackdown @ work, where I used to do most of my surfing.

<< <i>Did ya dig too big a hole and gottcha self stuck in it????? >>

    Yeah, basically.

I'm STILL in a hole when it comes to my treasure hunting forum and my Hotmail account.

I'm scared to even look at either of those, after ten weeks away.

At least I think I wrapped up all my transactions and trades and such before I left.

Looks to me like Savoy's icon is a mirror image of half of a colorfull trime.

Good to see you're still kickin' around LM.

Good to see your just fine, after the third or fourth post I had read and thought: "I'm surprised LordM hasn't commented on this..." I looked up your last post date - was early may! then I checked your ebay feedback and that dried up at the same time...

Good to see it's just much to do about nothing. image
