Silver Coins?

I'm a member on the baseball cards message boards...however I thought someone over here could help me...I posted this also in another category and then realized that it might be better posted here...

My mother passed away a few years ago...and in her possessions...were rolls of quarters, half-dollars and dollars...all silver coins (from the 60's)...they are mostly in mint condition...

Do these have any value other than the face value?

worth somewhere between 11-13 times face value in silver value alone for PRE-1965 coins.

All of them are probably worth something. You should get a copy of something like the Red Book or just use the PCGS web site coin price guide to acquire an approximation of values. Remember, those are guides and in no way could tell you the exact price of each coin, only an approximation.

If some of these are in Original Bank Wrap they will bring a premium on Ebay as well as the BST..The BST might bring a little less than the bay
but you will save on fees and hassle..If the are just loose coins in tubes then you will likely get melt..

From what I can recall...all are around...1960-1964...1964 quarters...Kennedy halves...silver dollars might be earlier....lots of 40's and 50's pennies I think...
