    I can make it break $1000 when ever I want. Roughly 12-24 hours after I sell what gold I have it will skyrocket to over $1000 for sure. Not selling though, sorry.

    With Black Gold.....so goes our good friend AU. As long as the cost of a barrel of oil continues to rise, I see nothing that will stop gold from breaching $1000.

    And don't forget that manual labor will become the new in-thing in America again. All the Mexicanos will go back for a long siesta in their old homeland. The Chinese will go to smokin paste in pipes and having 8 babies per family again.

    And the part I can't wait for is when all Car buyers are lookin to buy American. That will be because the assemblers at work at the big 3 will take new pride in their product and only build near-perfect quality. The Car Designers and Engineers will Design and Engineer the absolute best in the world. And the Service Departments at your local Big-3 Dealer? - why they will provide fast courteous service WITH an apology for the darned thing breaking down in the first place.

    We are now living in the 21st Century Twilight Zone. Gasoline $4+ a gallon. A can of soup wipes out a $5 bill. Cigarettes, outrageous. There is NO SHORTAGE on any of this. A loaf of bread, for crying out loud.

    Most can't even afford fuel to go to work. Natural gas is outrageous etc. etc.

    60-70 yr old CERTIFIED Gem BU coins go for practically Nothing!

    21st Century Nightmare called Reality. The End is near!

    Of course Gold will continue to climb. And just think, 4 years ago you could walk in a B&M shop and buy a generic BU St. Gaudens for $300.

    Good point FrankCoins. I always forget this because I didn't grow up in the silver coin era.
    Should we go back to the gold/silver standard?
