  it is in an older (rattler) PCGS holder listed at ms63.

  It appears to me that the original auction photo had a shadow in the area of the contact mark on the cheek, which makes the coin especially difficult to grade from the photos provided.

  One cannot grade from pictures (accurately) in the first place.. those make it virtually impossible. Cheers, RickO

  That seller is notoriously known for using poor images in their auctions, leading many to believe that the images are edited.

  Your price was not bad for a pcgs rattler. Some 63's have gone for way over PCGS price guides.
  
  I like it as a solid 63, but I think the line on the face might make it hard to upgrade. muffinsmommie is suspect on this board.
  
  It would be great if you can take some decent pictures when you get it, so we can further debate if there was doctoring.
