1995 w American silver eagle going down?

Are these starting to go down in price? Saw one for under 4k the other day. 2 years ago the TV sellers were at 8500 plus. What is going on if anything?

TV Sellers are always way over the top on ANY coin and should not be used as a marker for coin values unless you don;t mind getting RIPPED OFF!

From what I can tell, the 1995-W Proof SAE has always hovered between the $3500 and $5000 mark for raw coins.

3 years ago I bought a complete set for $4K, 2 years ago I sold the 1995-W for 4K. Last year they jumped to between 4500 and 6000 and now they are back down.

It seems that this one may be slightly volatile?
It is entirely possible that I am wrong

I bought one in 1996 for $120.00 graded PCGS PR69. Still have it and will never part with it. My favorite coin of all time for me.

The pricing has been firm on the set and the individual ASE for quite sometime.
