I'm a civil servant who provides direct support to a Marine Unit who specializes in Aircraft Recovery Operations. When they go, we go.. Me and the guys I work with get the same pleasure. I won't make a full deployment and in fact am only working on a specific job right now. With a whole lot of luck I'll only be here a week or two.
I'm plenty safe and the guys who deserve the kudos for service are all around me wearing uniforms. The guys I work with are some hard working Marines who you guys can be plenty proud of. Actually they're a little too hard working. We did about 16 hours of work yesterday. I'm beat! But I get to do it again today.
