Hi everyone. I hope this goes right. I wanted to show you my latest purchase. An 1837 Cap Bust H10c Large 5c. PCGS MS 63. Got it from HA.com on their Buy Now link. Comments welcome.

I made an offer on that coin when it was first listed...but my offer was in line with "sight unseen" levels. I sure hope it looks nice in hand! Can you post good pics?

Your old 5 Cent coin is among the best of its kind and PCGS said so-- congrats.

That is a tough coin in that grade- for some reason 1837's are very difficult. I bought an ANACS AU-53 that crossed at XF-45 at PCGS.

I followed that coin, I think. Is that the one they had for a while listed with no picture?

The 1837 CBHD has the lowest PCGS populations (by far) for MS-63 and up for any date in the CBHD series. Properly-graded, original examples are worth a healthy premium, IMO.

I'm not sure if this was the coin. I bought it on 6-14-08 and there were pictures. Still waiting for delivery. I will try to post better pics when I receive it.

looking forward to pics...and yes, same coin. Initially, Heritage did not have pictures to post.
