Simple question...i know his advice has been invaluable to me and apparently a lot of you use his consignment service...is Russ the MvP of the forums?

    image Yes, Russ rules. He is excellent at what he does. He's sold a bunch of stuff for me, and I look forward to having him sell some more once I figure out what stays and what goes. He knows the coins, and gives a great presentation of them both in pictures and the written descriptions. He is also very efficient on the business/shipping end of things.

    JK, he put me in touch with a tantalizing twenty cent piece. Hopefully it is as nice in hand as his pics make it look. So far he gets a image from me!

    I only know him from reading this forum. He seems to be an honest straight shooter who calls things as they are. I have a lot of respect for him.

    I have always enjoyed his posts and pictures. Very informational, educational and entertaining all at the same time and for free. Toss in pithy wit, often offered up in a few very effective words [obviously he is not a lawyer since he gets to the point quickly]. Can't beat that.

    He also looked at an email pic of a raw 1969 CAM+, maybe even DCAM, Kennedy I have and gave it some props.

    If the above qualifies as "help" then my answer to the OP is yes.

    I think I bought something from 'compucheap' before I knew of his presence on this board. Decent coin. Never talked with Russ or shared a PM. He seems to have quite a following here.
