Just received the coin back from PCGS. Here is a quick image of it.

It is reassuring to know that at least one is out there....
I have not checked the population reports from either PCGS or NGC

I am not worthy to gaze upon this. I had to use one of those shoebox-with-a-pinhole-in-it devices that people use to observe eclipses. Have you upgraded your home security system yet?
Seriously (said the man with an NCG MS64) nice score!

<< <i>This one is staying the color it is. When I compare the MS65 to the MS64 from the same submission the main difference is the marks on Winnie's and Q. Elizabeth's cheeks. I now know what PCGS looks at on these coins. >>
Having two coins side-by-side only helps your cause.
<< <i>Does that mean that there is a "MS-65" Shriver Dollar out there? >>
if you know of one, we don't want to see that thing!
I've got one at home (still discovering a collection I just purchased).
P.S. aajan you need to check out this thread that was started for you Link
<< <i>What's the value on one of these? >>
In run of the mill grade, about 50c - $1.
I'm selling my duplicate PCGS MS64 on eBay right now and it's bid up to $38. Value of a PCGS MS65? As far as I know, one has never been sold.

True, if you don't count the EZ Bake oven version.
Congratulations, ajaan on the grade.

<< <i> but who in there right mind would pay good money to have one slabbed. >>
I consider myself to be in
<< <i> there [sic] right mind >>
and I had some slabbed. I find your reply to be somewhat insulting to my collecting habit.
If you are willing to sell any Churchill Crown that is nicer than my PCGS MS65 I am a very willing buyer, especially since that aren't all that uncommon.

Try finding a 1959 1/2 crown in 65 or higher... that will keep one occupied for awhile.
