  Its scarcer than the PCGS 3 wraparound type but nothing that should bring a huge premium if its a cheap coin inside.

  sort of a related question:
  
  did all doilys come with the wraparound plastic or were some just rattlers with doily inserts?

  I had a Morgan in one of these wrap-arounds once... but the outer "wrap" had come loose and was beginning to open up...
  
  Someone wanted to buy the coin but thought the holder was damaged...so did I...
  
  Soooo...along comes sTONER and he simply broke off the outer shell to reveal the rattler inside...
  
  Person no longer wanted the coin because the holder was damaged...
  
  Then along comes Oreville... he buys it...
  
  ...takes it home and puts the shell back around the rattler and places it in his wifes hands to show-off the great coin he just bought...
  
  ...of course...the whole thing falls apart in her hands and he starts to yell... "OMG...look what you've done...I can't believe you broke the holder!!!"
  
  ...she certainly got "rattled" on that one...
  
  ...I still think that was kind of mean...funny...but mean...

  Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free

  They all came with wraparounds, but since then some of them have broken the wraparounds off and it just looks like a plain rattler.

  With the exception of the PCGS Regency holder and the NGC holders with the black colored core, all generations of PCGS or NGC holders aren't very scarce and at least a few examples of each holder can be located at any large convention.

  Cameron, WTCG, et. al.:
  
  Aside from the Regency (and counterfeit) holder, which do you think is the most scarce PCGS holder? Perhaps the doily holder?
