$1300 for a 1861 three dollar gold piece in a PCGS XF-45 holder. It was ok, but I sold it for $1800 at the last Long Beach Show.

A raw Chain cent for $660, which I slabbed (ANACS P01) and flipped for $1,100. It was a really nice Chain for a P1.

A highly graded High Relief Saint. It was before PayPal became popular so it took a measure of trust to send the funds out to the seller. I don't recall the exact sum, but it was close to what HighRelief referenced above for a similar coin.

    $1200 for a PCGS AU-55 1909-S VDB about a year and a half ago.

Today I see this same date and grade selling for $1500-1600.

Just under $1,200 for a NGC-55 3-legged Buffalo with a TERRIBLE picture and worse description. Re-shot it and sold it a month later for $1,550.

$931 for an uncertified 1811 large cent in glossy XF-AU. I made out well, because it would cost $2500 to get a coin like that from a copper dealer.
