I'm in a tizzy because I cannot import my Coin Bookmarks to my new computer for some reason

When I worked for my former Man™, I had a "Coin" folder in Explorer with tons and tons of really cool coin websites. Before I left, I successfully exported the contents of that file to my home computer. Then I tried to re-export the file and send it by email to my work computer, and import it to my work laptop. The import process seems to go smoothly, but after I click Finish, I keep getting an error saying "Not a valid bookmark file". I'm in a tizzy over here because I am wasting time typing web site addresses in by hand, rather than spending time posting threads to these boards.

maybe you went from version 6 to version 7 and the format changed.
does the browser look different? has tab browsing now?
if yes, you may want to downgrade version 7 by uninstalling it.
goto control panel and find install/uninstall software and remove it.
then import with version 6.
you could also try installing firefox or opera which both should be able
to import internet exploder's bookmark file.
that way you have a browser just for coins, and one for work...
but what is funny, is that you fav website, DW's, fails to work with other
web browsers because his coding sucks.

But using the Belkin Transfer Cable the job was a snap. If you follow the instructions, you can move your files, favorites, etc with no drama at all. Seems to me I did everything in less than an hour - I highly recommend this product as it was the easiest transition I have ever had.
