So I had about 30+ raw Lincolns & Jeffersons closing on ebay tonite....

Just about the time I was leaving the store, So I stayed to watch and see if there were any last minute questions, I don't as a rule sell raw coins but I figured I'd try it, anyway with a couple minutes to go,
I see this one buyers name popping up all over the place, so I look at his feedback and see that he has under 20 feedback with a recent Neg..........
Now I'm going crazy thinking some jerk is going to screw up my auctions,
There was so little time left, I just said to myself, forget it ........
A couple minutes later I went to My Ebay (sold items) to see what damage this guy may have done....................He won (9) items.....and PayPal'ed them within 3 minutes of the close on the last one...image

I sent him a message thanking him for the fast pay and told him that at first I was concerned and so on and that I guessed after the lightning pay that the Neg must have been a misunderstanding,
He responded with "what neg" please explain?.........So I told him to check his feedback.............I have not heard anything back yet but I think this guy was really shocked......

So I guess sometimes things are not as they seem....

it always takes a while to learn the ins and outs of ebay. i can imagine
a non savy computer person might not even know what the feedback
    system is!

People often seem to think ebay is filled with scammers trying to sabotage auctions, rip you off or make your life miserable. I think we sometimes forget that it's a person, just as prone to mistakles as we are, on the other side.

Why even bring it to his attention?image

Always nice to get fast payments from new e-bayers. BTW I am watching several of your Jefferson auctions.

You may want to double check that as the only bidder (rsdaven) who won nine of your auctions with an under 20 feedback has no negatives.

I see now. Upon double checking I see that although he has 100% positive feedback there was one rating withdrawal. Are you counting that one?

Just try and remember we all started at..."0" I made it a point when I first started buying to pay as soon as
an auction closed. Maybe he is trying to do the same thing..image

The recent Neg would concern me also if I was a seller though

It was a "thank you" for a fast pay.....plus a positive comment that I assumed the Neg was probably a misunderstanding considering what had just happened...

edited for a much needed spell check.........

This past Sunday I had a zero feedback bidder who had registered that day win one of my auctions. Paid within minutes, and I got to be his first feedback!

Less then 2 hours ago I copied and pasted this in a message that I sent him when he said "please respond"

I just went back and checked again, and it now shows that Neg as mutually withdrawn....
