local B@M junk silver prices

Do these seem high or have I missed something in the past week.
They are selling junk and I mean JUNK silver for 1.00 over melt on halfs
4.00 over melt on junk morgans. And went from .50 cent over spot for generic
silver bars and rounds to 1.50 over spot. I am a weekly customer but missed last week
because of some BST purchases. 2 weeks ago they were .50 over spot on bars and rounds
and .70 over on the 90% junk. They also pulled the BU Franklins out of the 90% trays and put in a
seperate tray for 8.75 each.. I guess I will stick to the BST boards image

I have noticed that one of my local B&M dealers has increased the margin on their silver bullion items. For misc. silver rounds/ingots they wanted $1.25 over melt. I seem to recall they used to sell these for about .50 over melt.
    All glory is fleeting.

Those may be bargain prices in the near future, I used to be able to
buy from my local pawn shop at below coinflation prices, now they
sell any junk silver at $25 per troy oz.!!!

taking advantage of customers at B&Ms during peak PM rushes
    is what they do best!

of course a few years ago no one wanted the stuff and it sat in
their cases... that is when you should have been buying.

    typical!

that's what I thought also. Other than last weekend when I didn't go their cases were near empty.
They had very few bars or rounds out. Right after the most recent dip when the spot was somewhere
in the upper 16 dollar range they were selling rounds in full roll qty only. Even then they were asking .50
over spot. Today the trays they had were heaping over. Dimes, Quarters, Halfs, and 2 trays of rounds and bars
not to mention the seperate tray with about 50 BU franklins and the 2 trays of morgans/peace dollars.

When their supply was low they were at .50 over. Now that they have them overflowing their trays they jack the price up.
I guess they don't need my weekly business after all. They would not even budge on the 90% junk. So maybe my pride
got in the way of common sense but I thanked him for his time and walked out the door. And I must not be the only one.
You usually have a 10 to 15 minute wait for one of the 4 people behind the counter to help you. Me and 1 other person
milling around the jewlery counter were the only customers there. I wish them all the luck but I'm done with them for know.

I was sick of paying their 3 dollars over spot for ASE's anyway...image

    Hell,

90% I am getting at spot with no problem but the damn ASE's I cannot find under 20.00 a piece. Prices are all over the board- Some people are at spot and some people are making there on market-

E-bay is even worse I swear- I just bid on 6 ASE's all common date- Hammer price was 119 plus 10 for shipping... Meaning about 22 each WOW
