XF obv. F rev. Buffalo Nickel grade question

VetterVetter Posts: 915 ✭✭✭✭✭
How would you grade this Buffalo Nickel? 1926-S The obv. looks XF to me, but the rev. looks to be in Fine condition as it's just missing the tip of the horn. Would you split the grades and give it a VF or grade it by the lowest side so it would just grade Fine? These thing are a bugger to grade! Thanks for any input.

26-S, the most notoriously weakly struck Buffalo date in the series.

    This still remains an EF

    I agree... Cheers, RickO
  • VF details, but looks to be cleaned. High points have a shine to them. Just does'nt look right. Could be the picture.
