Yep clothesline poles, under fenceposts, outhouses, wells, fireplaces, baseboards, trees, etc... The list goes on and on. A lot of people would rather hide their nest eggs than to trust it to someone else.

They may not be that expensive, but they sure would be fun to find. Finding anything valuable and unexpected is a rush - just ask any of the metal detecting guys.

when I used to work on a drywall hanging crew we would put some current year coins in a little zip lock type bag and nail it inside the studs along with a current magazine or newspaper....simple but fun
$150.00 total, yet described as finding the "Motherload" and creating an inheritance for 9 grandchildren. Methinks these need to get sent to PCGS ASAP so they can be branded with a special slab label. Maybe "Grandfatherload" would be appropriate?
