Perusing the 'price guide' I came across this:

PCGS#92848 1958 Doubled Die Obverse

I searched the forum archives for "Lincoln DDO", but came up with zilch.

Anyone have a link to info, or pics on this one??

Thanks, Mozeppa! One of the great variety rarities that I have never handled in the flesh, er, metal.

Thanks for the pics!! So, the doubling is similar to the type that we see on the '55 - but without the date doubled? With only two known, I am surprised that both examples aren't identical looking? (The second Lincoln looks like he has an earring & the reverse "O" in one isn't the same?)

This "Rich" doesn't own one, but I do look through rolls of them whenever I locate them.

2 known to exist, where are the rest?

There must have been dozens that we struck, before QC caught the error, right?
