i agree, though i tend to prefer a tad more detail. it looks like in this case, pcgs actually undergraded it slightly. i'd of guessed vg-8.

Often it seems when PCGS apparently undergrades, they actually netted the coin for something. Just cant tell with this one.

It SHOULD go for around $350. But, considering how crazy people have been lately with auctions it might go for $600!

I had considered that too. If you look in eBay stores there are a couple of DBQ graded by PCGS as VG8 and VG10 that both look worse than this one.

I would tend to agree. There's a lot of meat on that one for just a G-6. Perhaps the graders saw something on the coin that we cannot see on the image.

    Dude, you're dreamin' image

Bidders have been paying stupid money for stuff like this lately. I won't be suprised if someone pays $600 for this coin image

I'll bet you $5 face junk silver that this does not sell for over $600. Interested?

Nope. But I still stand by my prediction. Of course, I've been wrong a few times before image

Why oh why did I wait until 2004 to start collecting coins? Hard to believe this coin could have been had for under $200 just a few years ago.

$424 is still very strong money on that coin.

Maybe not if it upgrades to an 8 or a 10.

I paid under $1k for a crusty PCGS VF25 1805 less than two years ago. If a good is bringing nearly half that I'm very happy with my purchase image Actually...I was happy with it the moment I bought it. Love those DBQs!

Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.
