  • Pretty good for a fist submission.

The 1880 looks to be a micro O mint mark.

Thanks for the accompanied photos. I always wondered what the point of these threads were without them.

    Thanks for the educational post.

  • Hmm, still trying to figure out what is altered on the 1878 7/8TF-- I never would have though that based on the pics-

    Perhaps cleaned and retoned???

Looking to buy Morgans in ACG, INS, IGA, Old PCI photo, and Hannes Tulving holders.
  • Of all the coins submitted the 1878 was the one I least expected to bag!

Mailed 13 Morgans away today for PCGS grading, including a 7/8 TF that doesn't look near as nice as yours. Now I'll be sweating the whole time until I get the grades....(more so! image)

    I think you did wonderfully!

Just one BB, especially for a first-time submission, is great. (Heck, just one BB for many of us many time submitters is great!)

I love the look of your 1903-S Morgan.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • When were they logged it, what date?

I got them back today and i think I shouldn't have submitted the 1880-o as a vam. I can't see the rub but I can understand their scrutiny with the price difference. It looks like rub in the pic but not in hand. It looks the same as the 1882-CC as far as rub or not.
