  I know next to nothing about the trade series, but I do know buying one raw off ebay is bound to be trouble The rim denticles don't look right to me, especially the weakness of them on reverse- I believe from my reading here on this site that this is usually a bad sign...

  But there's no reporting option for counterfeits that even remotely applies to coins. What path should we take to report it?

  The rim denticles on the reverse are not fully brought up and the eagle is in slightly low relief. Compare to a real coin:

  Honestly, if you try to report all the fake trade dollars on ebay - you'll go nuts! I don't even bother anymore...

  Since we're talking about reporting these....
  Does it do any good at all to report a coin that has less than 24 hours to go? Does eBay flag the buyer for future reference? Or is it all just a waste of time?

  He's got 2 of these going right now and goes out of his way to say they are two different coins... yet he uses the same pictures in both auctions.

  Use Utah coins link, copy and paste the item number. And list that it is a fake in the remarks.
  They pulled the one yesterday, because of the reports. This guy is piling up the strikes he should be out shortly.

  This a VERY, VERY bad fake (as opposed to a good fake??!!). Half the trade dollars on ebay at any time are fake.
