Would you buy a "D.B. Cooper" note....if so what would you

PCGS has certified less than 2 dozen of them and the owner says that he is going to keep one and sell the rest. Just wondering how many people would be interested in buying one and how much you would bid on it if they show up on ebay.

I'd love to have one, but I think they will sell for many thousands of dollars. Out of my price range.

I agree, I would like to have one, but one that he tried to sell before he had them certified a couple months ago bid up to 4k or more on ebay, and didn't even hit the reserve, too rich for my blood.

If priced reasonably I would buy one simply for the historic significance that they carry.

They are cool form a historical viewpoint, but otherwise they are just worn out 20 dollar bills

I would like one for the historical significance, but a few hundred dollars would be all it's worth to me. Not the several thousand that the seller wants.

These have absolutely no historical significance so why even bother? They simply represent morbid curiosities.

I mean, its not like D.B.Stupid actually pulled this off as much as planting the seed of what sick crap folks could dream up to make air travel a major pain in the butt.

As for the historical significance, DB Cooper was the only airline hijacker that was not caught or killed. They have never found his body or him, that and the fact he jumped from a jet liner is just too cool!!

This is what makes collecting fun! One man's trash is another man's treasure. And I disagree, I think they are significant.

I think they are prtty damn historical. To me atleast. I dont think everyone should have the same opinions, but to say they are not is just not really true. D.B. Copper will be remembered no matter who likes it. I still want one. Id pay face.

And that fact alone spawned a multitude hijackings by others that felt they could also "get away with it".

Successful hijackings just like successful bank robberies or any other successful "crime" simply encourages other idiots to attempt the same things that ultimately disrupt and scar the lives of innocent people.
