Got this coin in some stuff from my grandfathers estate. I know that it is masonic but thought that it was an unusual form of stamping on the coin.

The 'counterstamp' appears to be raised? Is it? Or is it an 'added' emblem? Cheers, RickO

it is raised there is a big dent on the reverse to match the front.
