<< <i>I thought you were not allowed to satet a numerical grade in your description if it were raw. Or turdworld slabbed. >>
..
You can state the grade in the description only.

Here's one to avoid because, in my experience, you won't get what you see-pops.coins
Used to go by the name of coincarolina (do not confuse with carolinacoin-they are good sellers) and seems to be real good at "losing" coins, especially those returned to him due to mis-representation. Both a friend of mine and I had problems with this dude.

That raw one looked cleaned. But who can tell from those pics.

Hoard the keys.
<< <i>Isn't pops coins the ones that look too flashy white to be original surfaces and then he takes pics of the coins at an angle where they look even brighter? >>
Could be, but the main problem is that you will not get the coin pictured-which in my case was a much inferior coin-and his propensity to "lose" things. I had to go thru paypal arbitration to get my money back after he ignored my requests for a refund. Fortunately, I had proof of delivery.
He has a vague disclaimer way down at the end of his descriptions that states he uses stock photos but it is cleverly worded and the real meaning is not clear.
for a refund by sellers request.......My refund is still pending thru paypal for the last five days.
Now what?
Al
I would definitely say that its been dipped and then some.

One of this guys favorite tricks on returned is to say the coin was "lost" in the mail, especially if there's no proof of delivery (signature) obtained. I used to work for the PO and I know it's not THAT bad! I had a hell of a time getting a refund for a grossly overgraded coin (and, of course, NOT the coin he had pictured.) I returned, even with proof of delivery and a friend of mine never did get his refund (the old "lost" trick.) I'm gonna call the PO where he has his PO box and try to get him investigated for filing fraudulent insurance claims.
