<< <i>Looks like the high bidder for both coins retracted their bid..the M.W was up to $660 & the AA $550, if my memory serves me correctly. >>
That would explain it then... I couldn't figure out what was so wrong with the auctions, when they're at bullion value right now...

Why do you think the bids are "crazy"? They are under melt.
Never mind. I see the mistaken comment was corrected.

Good thing you posted that I thought you were smoking something since they are under $900 melt at present. I was going to ask you to sell some of those over priced coins to me

If you take the time to read just a few posts above you, your question will be answered. I know, that's asking a lot sometimes.

Do you have a picture? Those are some big words
I had another bidder that bid on 4 of my auctions and canceled all of their bids. the username is btaylor716. I blocked them because it seemed fishy to me that they would "enter the wrong bid amount" on so many auctions and all about the same time. The auctions you linked are 2 of the 4. Any ideas? Should I cancel the bids of the guy with 4 feedback and block him too?
I swear, I am on the up and up on this one. I am not doing, and never have done, anything to get these bids higher. And I didn't think anything of it because they were selling for 800 bucks a coin a few months ago. 440 seemed about right to me...
The first solicitation had this:
Would you take $515 plus s&h for this coin?
If so send a request for paypal funds to XXXXXXX@xxx.com
The second one is this after I told him I don't cancel auctions for someone to buy it, even if I could make more. Call me stupid but that is just the way I am.
I am going to make you another offer for your Gold Proof Abigal Adams PCGS PR69 DCAM Coin.
$560 plus s&h.
If you like this offer, let me know, and you can send a request for paypal funds to XXXXXXX@xxx.com
He gave me his full address, and a phone number.
edited to add:
The guy offering to buy it off eBay has over 600 positive feedback with dozens of purchases in the last few months.

any ideas?
Have a Great Day!

<< <i>I am going to cancel the bids from the guy with 4 feedback. He hasn't won anything since Jul-09-05 and with the weird "activity" on my auctions, I don't think I am going to take a chance. >>
Good call at this time ... I think there must be a full moon out this weekend & your auctions has attracted some loonies.... I've blocked one or your bidders...who is the other clown?
