Have any of you experience with someone who fraudulently utters a United States coin?

Whoever fraudulently possesses, passes, utters, publishes, or sells, or attempts to pass, utter, publish, or sell, or brings into the United States any such coin, knowing the same to be altered, defaced, mutilated, impaired, diminished falsified, scaled, or lightened; Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
I guess I shouldn't try to sell any mutilated coins on eBay anymore, but can't I still utter?

Hmm. Does that include selling chopmarked trade dollars?

Your DNA is all over her, her dress, the carpet...everywhere but your wife. Wethinks you lie, BJ
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."

On the off (judging from the quality of your posts I think very off) chance that you are asking a serious question...
It does if you fraudulently claim that the coin is worth a different amount with the chopmarks then the coin would be worth without them.
If the coin is legitimately worth a premium because of the chopmarks then no, it is not illegal to utter it.
Edit fer pore spellin agin
<< <i>Does the term First Strike™ come into the ...utter.. arguement....
Interesting question, there could only be one "First", correct?
