Orders currently at PSA.....1/2 grades or not?
I had an order logged in last week; presumably the cards will be graded in the next couple of days. Will the new 1/2 grades be applied to these or not?
This is a poor decision by PSA in my opinion. Count me as one--of the apparent majority--who are opposed.

<< <i>The 1/2 grade system goes into effect on February 1st, so I don't think so. The more interesting question is what about orders that are logged in in late January? Are they subject to .5 grades? Or is it just orders received 2/1 or later? >>
Why would anyone send in a submission between now and Feb 1 knowing it will not be graded under the new system?

That is why there could only be a two-week notice.
Otherwise, January would have been dead at HQ.
If I was in charge, the notice would have only been
7-days.

I agree.
BUT, for whatever reason, some folks may not have wanted
the 1/2 grades. Those folks could have had a contract dispute.
Now, everybody has time to decide and can sign the correct order-forms.
I cannot believe they want to do that to their customers.. that is shocking..
thought you all might want to know.

I see no recourse for the submitter.
Even a stop-payment check or credit-card stop would do nothing
to change the terms on the order form that was signed and submitted.
While it does seem grossly "unfair" on a 220-card submission, there
is not a way to change the it-is-what-it-is factor. Of course, PSA could
decide it was "unfair," and make an exception on a case-by-case basis.
geez such an easy thing that has been made so complicated.

is there a ray of hope?
<< <i>did I miss the part were a person was informed they were grading subs the new way???

See my post above. I called in regards to a modern bulk sub I sent in that was received last Friday but not yet logged. I was told that it would be graded (like all incoming subs) with the .5 scale.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that the Feb special will relate to this move. Maybe a $5 special for all reviews? They should do something since there are obviously people who aren't very pleased right now.

I spoke today to Laura Rosenberg, I have a 112 card sub I sent on Monday, they have it and it is not logged in yet. She informed me, she will send me an E-Mail and when I authorize it by replying to the e-mail, that that sub and an 11 card sub still in process, But, And I Stress But, "Not Yet Graded" will be held for two weeks and then logged in and graded under the new half point system.
Just an FYI
