Look what I got out of a $6 proof set

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    I'd guess PR68. Although I'll be the first to admit grading proofs is not my strong point!

    i think a time will come when toning like that is considered bad and
    people will want a proof penny that looks like it was freshly minted,
    not a rainbow of colors.

    nice condition though! i just do not like my copper to look like that.

    Good looking coin. That toning is common on the 70 sets, and less common on the others. The picture is excellent, as that toning is difficult to capture.

    Just curious, I thought it had to be a $10K+ cherry pick.

    This may be a "You wish" award image Utah, you may have pulled the trigger a little early on your sig line.
