What gives with the ASE?

Can some one help me figure this out. First NN reports this dated 1/10/2008

"In 2007 Unc. "W" Eagle news, gold figures were static, platinum options all edged upward and the silver went off sale. "

I look on the mint website and ASE's are still on sale with 1/31 delivery dates. Also, if the 2007-W's are still available and minting has stopped then why is there such a lag on the delivery date?

It's so confusing.

Maybe they haven't sold all the coins they minted???? Thus... still available but no change in numbers

That would be my best guess also but I have some on order and it is "backordered" for the end of January. Why not "in-stock and reserved"?

Yeh, probably so. After all it is the government. 3 weeks to package does make sense.

Very nice. Sorry, looks like you didn't get a milk spot though. Better luck next time.

Seems to overturn the theory that they are just reselling rejects.

NN report is in error. BTW, the packaging vendor is: Noble Gift Packaging ...out of Montreal.

Ok, that computes. Actually I hope they run out of old ASE's and are forced to mint mine on the new dies.image
