1981 TONED PROOF SET

Here is a 1981 proof set that has been put away for several years.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a proof set to tone this color?

Might have been gassed-up. Do any of these
coins have the type 2 MM ???

According to your chart, they are type 2. These coins were not gassed.
When I first got them along with many more sets, I viewed all of them
and they were not toned. They have been in an old trunk for several years.

Looks like typical haze from storage in a humid environment.

If they are all type 2 then much bigger premium.
Always 20/40 times type 1 set.
Hard to see in photos. Take a good look with 20 power glass.
