I was born before 55-D Washington Quarters were minted as well as THE McDaddy of DDO's the 55 DDO Lincoln Cent.

I remember when a Quarter was actually a lot of money. Candy and Chips were 5c & 10c. Cokes were 10c. Gasoline was like 27 cents a Gallon when I was old enough to drive. On Saturday Nights if you put $3 Gas in your car you still had $7 to show your Girl all the fun she could handle.

    Ahhhh, the Good Ole Days.image

I guess that officially makes me an old fart and from the looks of things there aren't that many here that are older than I am. I suppose that would mean that they were once Hippies and part of the "anti-establishment" .... members of the Peace Movement.

    I'm in!

    Thanx Paul. image

    Copied from old swap thread.

    << <i>Thanx Dave & all. I appreciate it but I won't be 39 till the 25th!

Heard from Bealtesfan - He's cool & good to go.

No slipgate, by all means DO keep it. I'm only picking. I don't need it. Enjoy it!

CCEX, has not responded to my PMs asking for his shipping info.

I have PMed him saying if I don't hear from him by Monday (1/14), I will be picking a new winner for this giveaway. image

Funny I never had trouble giving away money before. Unless you count not having any. image
