Alternative PCGS Slab Storage Devices?

Does anyone use alternatives to the PCGS blue box? I saw some nice wooden slab holders on ebay that seemed pretty nice. Don't we have a resident forum member that manufactures something of this nature?

I use NGC Gray Boxes. They hold NGC slabs too.

For ASE's, I use Intercept Shield Boxes ... seem to do a decent job in preventing milk spots or toning....

I use a couple of pencil boxes...the little plastic type that is sold at most grocery stores, wal-mart, etc. They hold a few more than 20 slabs and you can stack them etc.

Just wait till someone gets one of these slabbed. You'll need the tanker truck instead of the drum for that slab.

  • Whitman boxes work on PCGS, NGC, and ICG slabs; they are a little cheaper and a little taller than PCGS boxes. However, NGC boxes are my favorite - the fit 'n' finish of PCGS blue boxes is poor by comparison.
