at this time last year, you mentioned they were dogs and they would tank after xmas, which you were wrong on both counts.

I remember when I offered you $750.00 for this same set in the first quarter of this year

i think they are toast, but wait a few years and fewer w/o spotting may really go up in value...especially the "70" 's

i am so tempted to crack my remaining reverse proof 70's and acetone them and just keep them raw and possibly resubmit years from now....that's probably a stupid thing to do....but i do stupid things sometimes, some gambles have paid off, some haven't

i am waiting right now to get back a "spotted" reverse proof that I just sold and was pristine when it left me, but pocked with milk when the seller got it..(priority USPS) .it had been vacuum sealed and i opened the bag to reinspect it was just fine,...and resealed.

WTF can happen in two days with USPS and being vacuum sealed? I guess Monday I will find out.

Local dealer had one in display case (and said he had more), raw, for $600.
Of course, he pays ~85% back of bid

If it doesn't sell this time I'll leave it alone for 5 or so years and try it again at that time.

Sold for $545 on ebay but having only one feedback my have contributed to a lower sale.

So, after ebay/paypal fees, you probably would have fared better with offers from the BST?
