Ever bought a coin off eBay that....
When it came, looks like the picture "may have" been altered to look FB? But when in hand it will not match up under any lighting condition to look like it's FB ebay picture. The coin is the same one, but the bands are no where near what the eBay picture shows it to be.
Yes I know about lighting changing the look of a coin. But when blown up, this photo looks tampered with. The pixel shades are not consistant with those that surround the area.
So where is the best place to have said picture analyzed and documented?

What is FB?

You would be more than amazed, and more than mildly surprised if I were to name the WELL KNOWN SELLER.
Of course this will not happen without expert proof, as should always be the case in matters such as this.
He's been known to do this.
C'mon, tell us.

Many of the pictures I have taken of Merc dimes through the years can make the coin look like it has FB's. It only takes a very slight change in angle to achieve this. Lately with Roosevelts the same pattern has shown up. What I usually do is look at a detail that should also be struck up if the coin actually has FB's. If that detail is not there I disreguard the FB contention. I suppose you already know this but maybe a few others do not.
PM me with the auction number. I would like to see this coin.
Thanks.
