Are you certain they came from the US Mint in that packaging or did you simply buy a story?

I know a guy that collect die cracked war nickels. Goal is to find progression of the same crack. They often run dome to rim, plus left.right base of the memorial to the rim.

When in high school, I picked up some whizzed and dipped shiny (slider) war nickels in wrapping like that. Paid a buck each for them & I got ripped off.

I was thinking the same thing. I have never in all my Jefferson pursuits seen any packaged like that.

on the flipside, I was gonna bid on em, but the price wasn't kosher.
the coins appear to be nice, let us know how they are when you get them image

The coins look nice enough but that hardly looks like original "mint" wrapping - they were issued in normal commerce, not individually packaged.

If you didn't pay TOO much for this "original" packaging, then all's well, though you should get them into better holders.

At approximately $126 for the set with a poorly worded return policy I would have passed, but that is just me. Here is the lot.
