There haven't been and significant profit takers for weeks. The only real down blip was last Monday's following the G7 meeting. And that was artificially induced by the PPT. Seems like $800 is already lost to the cartel. They are too busy defending the home front on the liquidity crisis in commercial paper. Tens of Trillions more to still lose there.

Wishful thinking?

I didn't say we wouldn't see profit taking but proposed another alternative that I considered just as likely. Profit taking lasted a coupe of days in the 715-720 area and again last week in the 755-60 area. Upmoves have been much stronger...when profit taking gets here it may suprise some but as Ricko points out, that may be a while. --Jerry
