What?!

I have been watching this auction - thinking about a commem. for the 7070. Last night the bidding stood at ~$26. It is now over $300. Look at the bidding activity - something is very wrong here. If this were to happen to one of your auctions what would you do/what could you do about it?

It looks like "0***0( 8 )" inchwormed up "s***i( 7 )'s" bids. At any rate, I would not be interested on bidding on that coin, nor with that seller.

I don`t understand that auction. Someone will pay 65 money for a circulated coin!

Maybe they are somehow involved with the charity that 10% goes to?

Be that as it may, I saw this and concluded that some insomniac is playing games. Clearly that auction sould not be anywhere near $300, not with those photos and not with that coin. As the seller I would be very concerned that somebody is playing with my auction. I don't imagine that the seller expected that coin to go for $330. So, you think that s***7 bid moon money and 0***0 simply ran it up on him? Does s***7 have any recourse should he decide that he really does not want the coin at that level? Could he cancel his bid leaving 0***0 with the winning bid. Do you think the seller will actually be paid as the auction currently stands?

I ask because, as an infrequent seller, I would at this point in the game have serious concerns about my auction.

  • bidiots?
  • Looks like 2 beginners, both with fewer than 10 feedback. If the winner gets buyer's remorse, there's not much to lose just not paying and creating a new ID. Either way, one of them is goingg to take a good loss if he/she completes the transaction.

0***0 put in a large bid..likely because he would be away at closing.... and thinking no one would bid that high for the coin. s***i, being a beginner... was looking for the top... well, he found it.. and is now stuck with it. Cheers, RickO
