Keep or trade?

OK I have a 2006 W PCGS ms70 $100 Platinum Eagle. I thought these would be going up in value from the intial $4000 selling price as they seem to be the lowest mintage $100 Eagle yet, but they seem to keep coming down.
So I am thinking of trading or selling it for the best key date coin I can.

What's your opinion? Keep it or flip it into a key date coin?
What do you think has better long term value?

<< <i>The most important thing is to buy something you know you will like. There is no fun buying a key date coin if it isnt pleasing to your eye. See whats out there that you totally love and buy the key in that series in a grade you can afford and you will be a happy camper
This is really good advice.
In general, I think keys are the way to go...and I think they definitely have better long term value potential.
However, you have to enjoy owning the coins...maybe instead you trade/flip for a high grade key date in a sleeper series...maybe a truly rare coin that can be bought relatively cheap because it's not in the most popular series.
Rarity = Value

If you bought it purely as a financial speculation, it may disappoint in the near to mid term, especially if your cost basis is higher than it is right now. However, if you like Plats, it will surely be a winner in the long run.
I knew it would happen.
