    I like the fact that the cud didn't impinge upon any of the lettering or numbers... but was still big enough to see in-hand!

    That's a true, "cud" die break, not a rim cud........

    It goes into the coat area; a rim cud is much
    smaller, and it is on the inside portion of the
    rim only, without touching any design elements.
