Some better photos of my Pan Pacific coins

I had earlier posted some photos that were too large, here are the resized photos. I think they are some of the most beautiful coins I have ever owned and seen and take delight in seeing them, enjoy!

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !
New Barber Purchases
The $50 design originally had a spider web in the background behind the owl.
You can see photos of this and other original designs and read a lot of previously unpublished information about the coins in the book Renaissance of American Coinage 1909-1915. It can be borrowed from the ANA library, or purchased from many coin dealers & book sellers, including several who post on these boards.
<< <i>I spent more time looking at those pages in the Redbook than at pictures of girls. >>

I want to second everyone's comment about the beauty of your coins. (Plus I'll second everyone's comment about envy.
I also want to second rwb's comment his "Renaissance" book. After reading the material in the book about these coins, I came away with a new appreciation for the PPIEs (or, as they are called today, the Pan-Pacs). GREAT book and GREAT coins.

These two coins look awesome to me. Looks to be condition census coins as well!
I am indeed curious as to the actual grade of these lovely gold coins as well.
