Forget the bears ....Gold is set up for 1st stop 850.00

bestdaybestday Posts: 4,242 ✭✭✭✭
Gold has been defying some of the so called best market traders saying it will drop $$ 50.00+ . Gold is being accumulated on the dips .. $ 850 is next ...this is very similar up move as to Fall 1980 . Today's price action is a set up for much higher prices image

It's a barbarous relic I tell ya. Been worthless since Genghis Khan.

You can't even eat it! (same for lumber, silver, real estate, concrete, copper, lead, uranium, palladium, platinum, natural gas, oil, etc.)

Nothing to see here. Just move along and pass me another stack of FRN's for the fire place. At least you can burn those!

In my brain I just keep linking the rise of gold with the fall of the dollar.

That and I did not hoard any gold...

Yes, you can but only once. "Eat your gun" is slag for putting your gun in your mouth and blowing your brains out.

I have always said I don't care if it goes up or it goes down. Let that be seared, seared in your memory. Besides, how can I, or anyone here, not take notice? How many threads about this are there at all times?

Now we know what the price is today. That's nice. Nothing more to say, go outside and play, dear.

  • Sour grapes , Silver is up over 50cents today , Some of us are quite excited and some of us dont care . Some of us are protected to some extent against a falling dollar and some of us dont care.

  • Long term I'm betting big on uranium. After you build a 3 billion dollar nuke power plant you don't care (well you care, but you are still a buyer) if uranium is $1/lb or $10,000/lb.

And if you don't think the number of nuke power plants are sure to increase you have your head in the sand. image

I'd say there is about one gold thread per every 100 Presidential, 1st spouse, ebay BST thread, or bad seller thread. I know which one seems to have some passing interest to most. Next question.

Even $1000 per ounce gold is cheap compared with the previous high decades ago. Today's dollar is only worth about thirty cents back around 1980. With the dollar dropping to new lows against the worlds currencies, there is no way gold will stay at today's low level.

Lets put this into perspective..Wheat ralllied 90 % in 3 months from June , Oil rallied 30% in the last month ...Soybeans up 40 % ..GOLD ?????++++ ... US Dollar at 30- 40 year lows
