What are your 7070 requirements??

Do you go key date/semi-key or grade. Obviously price and preference matters, but I am at the point for I go with a nice Rd Indian or a G-4 1877 IHC. A Nice UNC V-nickel or an G/VG 1885. you get the point. Now some keys are are out of the question, but wanted to see what you guys and gals prefer for yourselves.

I have upgraded a few since those pics were taken, but most are still the same.

Me to more or less, although some of the less expensive better dates (49P rossie, 39D 5 cent) have managed to slip in. I also want each of the mints represented, which will force a deviation from lowest price/best quality for certain series.

The LOC I usually go for the best I can afford. Need not be key or special date.
One of the 7070s (with gold page) I try to get dates where two different designs share the same date (1909 IHC and Linc), (1883 Shield and V nicks) etc.
The second 7070 gets high grade whatever date
The thrid 7070 gets handmedowns.
Since this album is the one I show friends that come over and the discussion turns to coin collecting, they would not be as interested if I showed them worn out key date coins.
But when they see nice XF-Unc coins in the album they seem impressed & very curious about coins like Half-Cent, Large Cent, 2 & 3 Cent, Half-Dime and 20 cent pieces.
For this collection quality over rarity.

You are doing well, subject 15837. You are a good person.

<< <i>Best coin for the money, which is usually common date, but I like it to be golden or brown toned. What's the point of having a key date that is so low grade that you can't see hardly any details? The toning gives the album a nice continuity, even the modern coins if I can find them. I want all the details I can get, so I always look for a good strike. The common modern stuff I love to see in proof dcam, silver if it came that way.
Exactly!!
