Tim - Boiler's not gonna fall for that so easily. In fact, only a master salesman could sell him a lump-o-crap.

Tim- The Lump-O-Crap slot in my collection has already been filled! Remember I am a type collector so I don't have to complete any sets.image

Andy- That is one of my favorite "coin" transactions ever. After watching you buy it from 2 aisles away, following you back to your table and seeing the "You bought what!?" looks on the faces of your tablemates from a safe distance, a look that was topped 2 minutes later when I walked up and bought it from you.image

I have this item on display in a glass coffee table along with a 65 caliber flintlock pistol ca 1725, a Colonial currency note denominated in spanish milled dollars and to complete the presentation the Ponterio Feb 2001 auction catalog depicting the Lump-O-Crap on the cover.

This has turned out to be a real conversation starter and an introduction into numismatics for at least half a dozen new collectors.image

I believe they are coerced into stoping and talking about numismatics since no one would want to "pass" that lump-o-crap.image

I stole the picture from the current Smyth auction - check it out at their web site.
