I see....10/19 falls on a Friday ... otherwise it would have been 10/21 since no one received their coins before 9/21......

  • Got mine mailed off today. Hope registered mail doesn't take that long. Thanks.

Its the post mark on the box you mail that counts. As long as it is postmarked on or before the 19th, you're ok.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Mine are still sealed with post mark 09-24-07.

I can send them in anytime for First Strike if I want to.
  • True but you will have to pay for them to send the boxes back.

At $2.00 per box, no biggie!

  • Anyone know the PCGS #'s for the Liberty Proof/Uncs?

    TIA

Unless you have idiot friends like mine who opened the damn boxes before handing them over to me with a smile (even after I told them). Oh well at least I have until the 19th.

What do you ask for on the form if you want the First Strike designation?

    Thanks

  • I put it in the "variety" section of the form: "First Strike". Of course, I also put the extra $10.00/coin under additional service in the fee area.

I couldn't find the number (although I spent time last night trying to find it). I just left that area blank on the form. Their customer service will fill it in. Had to do the same thing with the 20th anniversary SAEs and everything came out fine.

When these coins are bought and sent into PCGS for the "First strike" designation does anyone check or collect those coins for their EDS strikes? Perhaps someone could post some side by side pictures that show some differences in strikes.

Ok, this the last time posting this.....You do NOT have to send an unopened box as long as you submit the coins within 30 days of the PCGS deadline, which I believe someone posted earlier. Send them in the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flips in their Mint capsules and designate on the PCGS order form 1st Strike....of course you have to pay an extra $10 per coin for them to designate them First Strike.
