Playing with the camera 1883 NC Nickel

This is part of that very big purchase I just finalized. This guy was a heavy smoker (you should smell the packages when I open them), worked the coal mines, and loaded his own ammo.

Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    The pic seems a bit off to me.....washed-out or over-exposed.......is the coin really that bright? I noticed in previous thread where you posted another coin from this deal, that pic also had the same washed-out/over-exposed look......

    You guys like this one better? I confess I have NO eye for this type of thing. I can't even hang a picture, much less take one. That's why the XTi.

    Nice coin. 64 maybe? Nice obverse stars, too (I've owned several, and none of them had all of the stars even close to being complete)...
