I could be wrong here, but I don't think that is even an actual panda coin. I have one of those in gold (1/20) ounce and it was taken out of a scrap ring. I know the gold one is just a jewelry item, not an actual minted coin. This one looks the same in (maybe real) platinum. I would give him $60 bucks for it if it came into my store and tested good for platinum. LOL
I don't know the series but some early panda's are low mintage and they seem to have a good following. I usually ask buyers of US bullion coins if they need anything else an the most frequent question I get is "Got any Panda's?".
The prevalent opinion here is that ebay buyers are all fools who need the wisdom of this temple of knowledge to help them out. In this case it would be my guess that the buyers know pandas better than those speculating here. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting routine NCLT bashing comments which I usually ignore.

I sell US coins in PCGS holders, mostly NCLT and President Dollars. I've considered picking up a line of Pandas because I get the question so often--from US bullion buyers. But I haven't been able to find mintage figures for them. I'm too busy right now to pursue it but you could probably find info on the Dark Side forum. I don't know the Panda market but if you've got the right ones you may be in for a pleasant suprise.--Jerry
